Nestled at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in South Gippsland, Victoria is a farm called ‘Gowan Brae', home to Sue and Paul MacLeman and their family.

The MacLemans are proud producers of Scottish Highland Cattle and the highly-prized Avoch Highland Heritage Beef.

OUR HERITAGE BEEF

The Scottish Highland Cattle breed is one of the oldest in the world, believed to be descended from the ancient Auroch cattle.

They've been bred on the moors of Scotland for hundreds of years. Their thick 'double' Winter coat means they need less fat for warmth and produce a healthier, more flavoursome beef.
